Human Articular Chondrocytes are mature cells responsible for elaborating and maintaining cartilage matrices in vivo. These cells can be difficult to isolate and expand but have huge potential in translational research. CELLvo™ Chondrocytes are isolated from cadaveric articular cartilage of otherwise healthy donors. CELLvo™ Chondrocytes are intended for research use only and are the ideal choice for researchers.

This product can be used for basic and translation research in the following applications: osteoarthritis research, joint research, chondrocyte differentiation, tissue engineering and chondrocyte implantation studies.

Ordering information: CELLvo™ Human Chondrocytes can be ordered as a single vial (more than 1 million) of cryopreserved cells at P0 or P1. HC-a can also be purchased as a kit to include CELLvo™ Matrix.
Delivery: HC-a arrive on dry ice and may include a sleeve of StemBioSys CELLvo™ Matrix. HC-a should be stored in liquid nitrogen vapour upon arrival. CELLvo™ Matrix should be stored at 2 to 8 °C upon arrival. Avoid extended exposure to light.
Packaging: A kit will contain a single vial of HC-a cryopreserved at P0 or P1 and a sleeve of CELLvo™ Matrix (6 well plates, T 75 flasks or T 150 flasks). Additional CELLvo™ Matrix can be purchased separately.
Caution: CELLvo™ HC-a and Matrix are not for human use. CELLvo™ products should not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Handle in accordance with established bio-safety practices.
