Immobilised Catalase is prepared by covalent coupling of catalase enzyme to 6% cross-linked agarose beads. Immobilised Catalase is used to remove hydrogen peroxide from biological samples for use in downstream applications which require absenceof hydrogen peroxide as it causes interference.
