The XP analytical balances provide high performance weighing with improved linearity safety and security. This is achieved with the introduction of QM toolbox, SmartSens and MinWeigh functions alongside the SmartGrid technology, which provide fast and accurate weighing. This range is therefore particularly suited where regulatory compliance is required. The draught shield and drip tray can be completely, quickly and easily removed as before but now SmartSens allows the operator to weigh without touching the balance, thereby smoothing the work-flow and reducing spillage and contamination risks. MinWeigh warns the user if the minimum weight requirement, as laid down in USP or local GMP procedures, has been violated. The design also features a large, colour, backlit touch screen that facilitates direct access to all functions and an extended range of applications that include density determinations, differential weighing formulation, target weighing and statistical evaluation.
