3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material 5535 helps to enhance the visibility in low-light and night-time conditions. The material shines white when illuminated, even if the wearer is at the roadside. It meets various global high-visibility standards such as ISO 20471, and far exceeds the minimum reflection values required at the highest performance level. Reflective Material 5535 consists of wide angle, high-precision glass lenses bonded to a heat activated adhesive. The transfer film bonds seamlessly with fabrics without the need for stitching to create a smooth, snag-resistant design. It is characterized by a high degree of heat resistance, does not affect the flame-retardant properties of the garment, and is renowned for long-term flame resistance as per EN 469. The product is washable in a home wash process at 60 °C (65 cycles according to ISO 6330-6N), and in an industrial wash process at 75 °C (15 cycles according to ISO 15797 table 4, procedure 2).
