Alpha 1-4 LSC Basic Universal package in a 'universal configuration' with RV8 Edwards vacuum pump. The package contains everything you need to use.

  • Air-cooled, uses CFC- and HCFC-free refrigerant
  • Display the vacuum in connection with the vacuum measuring probe VCP 63 ( included). Vacuum control in conjunction with pressure control valve ( included).
  • Robust vacuum measuring probe VCP 63, with integrated electronics for use on Martin Christ freeze drying systems with LDplus control
  • The measuring range is between 1000 - 0.001 mbar. Measurement method: Pirani; including connection cable and accessories
  • Vacuum hose including standard flange connections DN 25/25 ISO-KF for internal connection of the vacuum pump (included)
  • Base plate for directly attaching drying chambers (or accessories with a diameter of 300 mm) for the Alpha 1-4 and 2-4LSCbasic, Beta 1-8 and 2-8 LSCbasic freeze-dryer series, for use when drying outside the ice condenser chamber (two-chamber process)
  • 3 unheated stainless steel shelves Ø 265 mm, distance between shelves: 79 mm, requires drying chamber (included)
  • Acrylic glass drying chamber Ø 300 mm, clearance height 295 mm, for holding plate racks, 12 connections for rubber valves, external dimensions Ø×height: 300×335 mm

Freeze-dryer Alpha 1-4 LSCbasic, 230 V, 50 Hz, table-top design, ice condenser and ice condenser chamber and entirely stainless steel defrost water valve, ice capacity max. 4 kg, ice condenser output max. 3 kg/24h, ice condenser temperature approx. -55 °C, ice condenser chamber 6.5 litres. The unit is equipped with hot gas defrosting, the vertical arrangement is particularly suitable for freeze drying in round bottom flasks, wide-neck filter seal bottles and/or on unheated surfaces, can also be used as a cold trap for rotary vacuum concentrators, equipped with system control LSCbasic (Lyo-Screen-Control basic): VGA-TFT colour display, graphics-oriented user interface with touchscreen, clear, intuitive user interface with quick access to the process data, multilingual user interface, password protection, display of maintenance intervals.

 : Alpha 1-4 LSCbasic universal package includes the following items: 102370,125488, 125388, 125704, 125910, 120900, 120903, 121550, 121860 (×12). Vacuum pump RV8, 115-230V, 50/60 Hz, includes oil mist filter power pack. Unit has a pumping speed of 8.5 m³/h, includes small flange connections, vacuum hose part no. 125704 required. Additional parts are available to purchase for customisation of the system.
 : Note: Vacuum measuring probes are wearing parts whose service life largely depends on correct handling. Martin Christ granted a 12-month guarantee on the correct functioning of the vacuum measuring probes when used properly.
