These mid-polarity phase columns are generally used for analysis of polar compounds such as chlorinated pesticides, herbicides, and basic drugs. They are often used in conjunction with a second column to provide confirmational information. Additionally, the phase ratios of the 0,32 mm series are maintained in the 0,20 mm series, simplifying transfer of methods to GC/MS systems.
