This mixture can be used for quantification (AOCS Method CE 1a–13) and approximate the compositions of the types of oils like linseed, perilla, hempseed and rubberseed oil.

This mix contains five components such as C16:00 methyl palmitate (7%), C18:00 methyl stearate (5%), C18:01 methyl oleate (18%), C18:02 methyl linoleate (36%), C18:03 methyl linolenate (34%).
