Akt substrate

This peptide sequence, GRPRTSSFAEG, corresponds to the sequence of GSK3 surrounding the serine phosphorylated by MAP kinase activated protein kinase (MAPKAP kinase-1) and p70 ribosomal S6 kinase. Acts as a substrate for Akt (PKB), Km=4 µM. Useful in phosphocellulose kinase assays.
