Bis(2-methoxyethyl) Ether, Reagent is more commonly referred to as Diglyme and is an organic compound that is a clear and colorless liquid with a faint ether like smell. It is solvent that has a high boiling point and that is miscible with water, alcohol as well as hydrocarbon solvents. Its main use is as a solvent for organic reactions as well as being able to chelate small cations.
