The selection of BOD or low-temperature incubators allows B.O.D. determinations, plant and insect studies, fermentation studies, and bacterial culturing to be successfully performed. Models are equipped with a hermetically sealed compressor, a circuit breaker to protect from electrical overload, and a fully insulated chamber. Continuous forced-air circulation ensures temperature uniformity and reproducible test conditions. While the temperature range differs between BOD incubator models, all are simple to calibrate for accuracy.
