HiPrep 16/10 Phenyl HP is a prepacked column designed for preparative hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) with good resolution.

  • Aromatic HIC resin for intermediate purification and polishing
  • Selectivity similar to Phenyl Sepharose 6 Fast Flow (Low Sub) but higher resolution due to the smaller 34 µm bead size
  • Provides fast, easy high-capacity separations in a convenient format

Phenyl Sepharose HP chromatography resin is based on a matrix of highly cross-linked agarose beads, which have been derivatized with phenyl groups. These are attached to the agarose matrix via uncharged, chemically stable ether linkages. The result is a truly hydrophobic resin with no ionic properties.
