Bis zu 20 Objektträger können in maximal 4 Färbelösungen in einem Durchgang bearbeitet werden. 1 reservoir heeft een volume van 450ml. Die Behälter für die Färbelösungen sind auswechselbar und werden mit Verschlussdeckel geliefert. Die Zeiten, wie lange die Proben bewegt oder ruhend in der Färbelösung bleiben sollen sowie die Abtropfzeit über dem Behälter sind frei programmierbar. Zum Abspülen der Proben wird das integrierte Wasserbad verwendet. Die Abspülzeit und wann Frischwasser zugeführt werden soll, kann ebenfalls programmiert werden. Das Trocknen der Objektträger erfolgt in einer neben dem Wasserbad befindlichen Heißluftkammer.
