About this item
Human Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL ELISA kit is a 90 minutes sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
- Higher throughput: Get results in just 90 minutess, with a single wash step
- Detection Range: 40 to 640 ng/ml
- Sensitivity: 2,41 ng/ml
- Sample Type: Serum, plasma or other biological fluids
- Assay Precision: Intra-assay: CV <8%, Inter-assay: CV <10%
Human Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL ELISA kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique for the quantitative measurement of human Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL has been pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. The standards and test samples are added into the wells and the Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. Biotinylated anti-Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL antibody, which also binds the Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL present in each sample, and Streptavidin-HRP, which binds the Biotinylated anti-Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL antibody, are added and the microtiter plate is incubated. Following incubation, unbound Biotinylated anti-Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL antibody and unbound Streptavidin-HRP are removed by washing, and two substrate solutions are added to the wells. Colour develops in proportion to the amount of Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL captured in each well. The colour development is stopped by addition of stop solution which changes the colour from blue to yellow and the intensity of the colour is then measured. The concentration of Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL in the samples can then be calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.
