Differentiation kit for the generation of motor neurons from hPSCs.
With the STEMdiff™ motor neuron differentiation kit, you can produce pure populations of spinal motor neurons with an average of >80% Class III β-tubulin positive, >50% motor neuron marker ISL1 positive, >60% motor neuron marker HB9 positive. These motor neurons also exhibit high expression of HOXA5. Use the resulting motor neuron cultures in a variety of applications, such as modeling human neurological disease or toxicity testing. These highly versatile cultures are suitable for use in neuromuscular co-culture with myotubes generated using the MyoCult™ differentiation kit, in co-culture with microglia generated using the STEMdiff™ microglia differentiation kit, or with AggreWell™400 for higher yield production. For further maturation of motor neurons generated with this kit, pair with the STEMdiff™ motor neuron maturation kit to produce >40% ChAT cells in an additional 14 days.
