Beide Modelle verfügen über einen 30-Minuten-Timer, Füße mit Gummisauger, die sie fest auf der Tischplatte halten, und eine Schutzschale aus Edelstahl zum Schutz vor verschütteten Flüssigkeiten. Eine Sicherheitsverriegelung unterbricht die Stromzufuhr zum Motor, wenn der Deckel angehoben wird. Die Außenseite besteht aus chemikalienbeständigem Kunststoff.
