The concentrated LMC broth is based on Lactose-Peptone broth as described in the German Drinking Water Regulation (DEV, DIN 38411) and the Mineral- and Table Water Regulation (MwTVO) for the analysis of E.coli and coliform bacteria in water. LMC is 10-fold concentrated and a sample quantity of 250 mL water can be added directly into the original bottle.
