TriLink® 2'-Deoxy-P-nucleoside-5'-Triphosphate

TriLink® 2'-Deoxy-P-nucleoside-5'-Triphosphate

Supplier: TriLink BioTechnologies

2'-Deoxy-P-nucleoside is a degenerate base which behaves as a universal pyrimidine and therefore base pairs with both adenine and guanine. This feature makes it a powerful tool in mutagenesis studies.

Cyanine 3-dUTP

Cyanine 3-dUTP

Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences

Cyanine 3-dUTP can replace TTP in reactions in which it serves as a substrate for E. coli DNA polymerase (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 and Taq DNA polymerases, reverse transcriptase (from AMV and M-MuLV) and terminal transferase. Fluorescently labeled probes can be prepared with this fluorescent nucleotide by a variety of methods including nick translation, cDNA labeling and 3’-end labeling. Probes generated by these methods are suitable for use for the identification of specific sequences by in situ hybridization procedures on fixed cells and tissues by direct fluorescence detection. Cyanine 3-dUTP can also be used for multicolor fluorescence labeling.

TriLink® 7-Deaza-2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-Triphosphate

TriLink® 7-Deaza-2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-Triphosphate

Supplier: TriLink BioTechnologies

This deoxyguanosine analog lacks the N7 nitrogen found in the natural guanine nucleobase. Replacement of this nitrogen atom with a carbon atom results in diminished structure of the major groove in DNA and may disrupt base stacking, but does not interfere with Watson-Crick base pairing. This is desirable for applications such as amplification and sequencing of GC-rich nucleic acid sequences.
