Ausführungen aus Naturkautschuk/TEF sind kostengünstige Verschlussvarianten für die GC und HPLC mit guten chemischen Eigenschaften. Sie sind aufgrund ihrer guten Wiederverschließeigenschaften ideal für Mehrfachinjektionen, jedoch nicht so leicht zu penetrieren wie RR/PTFE. Das PTFE/High Performance Red Rubber-Septum aus hochreinem, synthetischem Kautschuk minimiert das Untergrundrauschen bei speziellen GC-Anwendungen mit empfindlichen Detektoren wie ECD oder NPD.
