Elektroporations-Elektroden werden für die Elektroporation (Öffnen von Poren in Zellmembranen durch elektrische Pulse, um DNA in Bakterien oder andere Zellen einzuschleusen) von adhärenten Zellen in vivo oder in utero verwendet. Diese Elektroden können für verschiedene Anwendungen eingesetzt werden, darunter in utero-Transfektion, transdermale Wirkstoffabgabe und Elektroporationstherapie. Die Elektrodenbaugruppen sind so konzipiert, dass sie homogene elektrische Felder erzeugen, und sie lassen sich leicht reinigen und sterilisieren.
